The 18-acre Cresta Blanca Vineyard planted to UCD clone 5 of Cabernet Franc is situated on the west side of the Livermore Valley appellation at about 400 feet of elevation.

Vinification

Harvested from clone 5 Cab Franc from the Morgensen Family Vineyard on the east side of the Livermore Valley AVA, we made 635 cases of the 2025 Cab Franc Blanc. This wine will gain in complexity over the year it is bottle, each iteration adding more and varied notes to enjoy. Pair it with charcuterie and cheeses and all kinds of white meats, spicy and mild. 

Winemaker Notes

The white wine that comes from this most noble of reds is a whole world unto itself – a kingdom of sainted stone fruit, but which ones? Of the most acid-driven whites, but from where does the beautifully rich texture come? This is the wine to try blind, the one from which to jettison preconceived notions of what white wine should be and surrender to the gorgeousness that is THE organoleptic parade.
